our story

Founded in 2020 by Joanna Mauney, Cedar Rose Stationery started as a little dream in the corner of her apartment living room. Since then, it's bloomed into a company full of soft colors, whimsical illustrations, and handmade stationery made from 100% recycled paper.

Our goal is to create quality illustrated greeting cards that give you pretty ways to send thoughtful notes to others, while at the same time working toward improving the environment.

It's estimated that over 2.5 million trees are cut down every year to make greeting cards. Rather than add to that number, Cedar Rose Stationery uses 100% recycled paper. We never use glitter, foil, or plastic so the cards can be recycled again and again.

We partner with a nonprofit organization that equips local farming families to plant trees in several different countries. Each greeting card purchased from us plants a tree, directly aiding in reforestation and poverty alleviation.
